Dave “Unbeatable Dusher” Usher, won the conference title with his Orcs team and an impressive 8-2 TD differential. The Orcs were “Green Elves” all season and actually got out-bashed by the rest of the division.
Dave, as his self-styled name would suggest, never lost to a single Chorley player all season. The new T-shirts have been printed. He’s even playing as Halflings next season to give the Chorley lot a chance.
So, onto the other prize… I took home the champions trophy, demonstrating that it is possible to beat the unbeatable after all.
My Undead shrugged off their lack of Ghouls and banged our way through my opponents with CAS at 22:6 in league play and 29 overall including 8 deaths (oooh, free zombie!) en route to the title. Proving, once again, that CLAW is better than Chorbowl 😉
The Order of ChorBowl
The real reason for this post is to appreciate a very cool little distinguished service medal handed out from the Chorbowl crew to acknowledge NAF tournaments attended.
This is the #25 version, given to Dave and myself this year.
